Heavy Rock & Blues looking for Jams and Gigs

Postby FlyingV90 on March 11th, 2009, 4:20 pm

Hello, I'm looking for a band to start giggin' with. I've been playing for almost 5 years now, and I'd like to start getting out there with the music I've written and just have one hell of a time doin' it!

Here's what I do:
I play Hard Rock with a blues influence. Thus far I've got about 7 songs written for the electric guitar alone. 5 for the acoustic, though they aren't really in the same genre for some reason. I play with a heavy distortion and high gain. It just sounds the best for just about everything I play

Here's what I play:
1960 Les Paul Classic out a 360w Fender FM 212 DSP. I route the sound from the guitar through a BOSS GT-6 for that hard metal crunch. So pretty plainly put, I can be quite loud if I want to be. :)

Here's what I'm looking for:
Bassist, Drummer, and possible extra guitars. Some experience would be nice, especially for the drummer, but I'd prefer to steer away from the AC/DC style of drumming if you catch my meaning. If you've got the instrument, some talent, and some balls, then contact me and we'll see what we can set up. You'd obviously need to bring your own equipment, as all I have is the guitar. Oh, and fresh ideas for rockin' out are ALWAYS appreciated. :D

Thanks for stoppin' by!

How do I schedule my iPhone 3G sounds to automatically mute

Postby Tulky on December 20th, 2009, 12:06 am

I understand that GSM and CDMA are two different communication languages. Can the software in the iphone be altered so that it can speak CDMA language? Does it require a hardware change? Has anyone accomplished the conversion?
